ON MY BIRTHDAY, I BRING YOU A STORY I WANT TO BE A HAPPY ONE!

Hello, everyone!

When I was a child, there were two moments I looked forward to all year long: Christmas and my birthday. And that was mostly because I loved receiving gifts. As time went by, I also began to look forward to my birthday as a chance to be the center of attention and to feel validated by my family and friends.

Now, for the past three years, my birthday has started to feel more and more like any other day. While I still enjoy gifts, I find the most joy in the ones I give to myself. As for attention, I’ve found a clever way to enjoy it any day of the year. So, on my birthday, I plan to treat it just like any other day. And for this, I need your help, from all of you who might have thought of sending me birthday wishes, good thoughts, or even gifts.
