Hope and Homes for Children, alongside Distribuție Oltenia, part of Evryo, ran the “Care for Me” („Grijă pentru mine”) campaign, a project dedicated to the emotional health of teenage girls from vulnerable backgrounds.
The initiative reached over 250 girls from Gorj County, including young women from the child protection system and rural communities, offering them support to understand their emotions, boost their self-confidence, and build healthy relationships.
The campaign debuted on March 6 at the “Spiru Haret” High School with a conference attended by approximately 200 teenage girls. The special guest was actress Ana Bodea, and the discussion was moderated by Loredana Matache on behalf of the Foundation.
Subsequently, the teenagers also participated in a series of personal development workshops held by psychotherapist Diana Lupu. Together, they discussed and created motivational collages about self-image, emotion management, and healthy relationships in a safe and friendly environment.
Through “Care for Me”, Hope and Homes for Children continues to create spaces where young women feel heard, supported, and encouraged to trust in their own potential.
