Terms and conditions

Terms and conditions for the donations made by card for Hope and Homes for Children Romania through Stripe, on www.hopeandhomes.ro, on https://hopeandhomes.ro/doneaza/ and through the applications/platforms www.galantom.ro/, PAGO and Revolut.

1. General provisions

One-time or recurring donations can be made on www.hopeandhomes.ro website using https://hopeandhomes.ro/doneaza/ subdomain. Also, the users of the www.galantom.ro, PAGO and Revolut applications/platforms can make one-time or recurring donations by selecting Hope and Homes for Children in the Donations tab.

The processing of the donations is made in a secure manner, according to the Stripe protocols, through https://hopeandhomes.ro/doneaza/ subdomain, and through the aforementioned applications and platforms, according to the specific protocols of those applications and platforms. The donor can select the amount of the one-time or monthly donation that will be debited from the bank card provided by the donor. By using the abovementioned applications and platforms, the donor will provide real, accurate and complete information.

The donations are made in support of the mission of the Hope and Homes for Children Romania, registered in the Registry of Charities and Associations with number 1/23.01.2001, Fiscal Code 13661594, with the offices in Baia Mare, 2A King Mihai I of Romania Blvd, 430281, Maramureș county, bank account opened at BRD, Baia Mare Branch, IBAN RON RO49BRDE250SV18778972500.

2. Terms and conditions for donations made on the hopeandhomes.ro website via the https://hopeandhomes.ro/doneaza/ sub-domain:

At the time of the donation, the donor will provide the following personal data: name, surname, email address, mobile phone number. The donor can choose to receive info from Hope and Homes for Children regarding the destination of the donated amount of money.

No matter the chosen option for a further communication, the donor will receive an automatically generated email from part of Hope and Homes for Children, both in the case of a one-time donation and in the case of a recurring donation. In the case of an unsuccessful recurring donation, the donor will receive an automatically generated email with details about the automated process of debiting monthly donations.

• Return of one-time donations

The donor can ask for the return of the donation with no need to provide a reason in 30 days from the date of the donation, by email at [email protected] or by phone, at 031 426 0271. In order to identify and confirm the donation, the donor will provide the following personal data (used at the time of the donation): name, surname, email and mobile phone number.

Hope and Homes for Children will reimburse the donation in maximum 5 (five) working days from the time of the request and the funds will be credited in maximum 45 days (depending on the bank that issued the card and on the type of the card).

• Return and termination of recurring donations

The donor can terminate the recurring monthly donation at any time, in two ways:

1. Accessing and following the instructions on https://hopeandhomes.ro/opreste-donatia-lunara/. The termination of the donation will be made immediately and the donor will receive a confirmation email in this respect, on the address used to initiate the donation.

2. Asking for the termination of the donation by email at [email protected] or by phone at 031 426 0271.

In order to identify and confirm the donation, the donor will provide the following personal data (used at the time of the donation): name, surname, email and mobile phone number.

Also, the donor can ask, without any reason, to credit a maximum of 3 (three) previous monthly donations by email at [email protected] or by phone at 031 426 0271.

Hope and Homes for Children will reimburse the donation in maximum 5 (five) working days from the time of the request and the funds will be credited in maximum 45 days (depending on the bank that issued the card and on the type of the card). The return of the monthly donations cannot be asked at https://portal.hopeandhomes.ro/s/, only their termination. The return of the monthly donations cannot be asked at https://hopeandhomes.ro/opreste-donatia-lunara/.

3. Terms and conditions for one-time donations made through the www.galantom.ro platform:

At the time of the donation, the donor will provide the following personal data: name, surname, email address, mobile phone number. The donor can choose to receive info from Hope and Homes for Children regarding the destination of the donated amount of money.

No matter the chosen option for a further communication, the donor will receive an automatically generated email from the payment processor approved by www.galantom.ro.

• Return of one-time donations

The donor can ask for the return of the donation with no need to provide a reason in 30 days from the date of the donation, by email at [email protected] or by phone, at 031 426 0271. In order to identify and confirm the donation, the donor will provide the following personal data (used at the time of the donation): name, surname, email and mobile phone number. Hope and Homes for Children will reimburse the donation in maximum 5 (five) working days from the time of the request and the funds will be credited in maximum 45 days (depending on the bank that issued the card and on the type of the card).

4. Terms and conditions for one-time or recurring donations made through the PAGO application:

At the time of the donation, the donor will provide the following personal data: name, surname, email address, mobile phone number. The donor can choose to receive info from Hope and Homes for Children regarding the destination of the donated amount of money.

No matter the chosen option for a further communication, after making and confirming the payment, the donor will receive an automatically generated email from the PAGO application. In the case of a recurring donation, the donor will receive a notification on the day they approve the card charge.

• Return of one-time and recurring donations

Both in the case of a one-off donation and in the case of a recurring donation, after making and confirming the payment through the bank issuing the card, the donor will receive an automatically generated email from PAGO. In this context, since the donor is informed each time, monthly, regarding the donation, Hope and Homes for Children will not process requests for credit/return of donations.

5. Terms and conditions for one-time or recurring donations made through the Revolut application:

At the time of donation, the donor can opt for either a one-time donation or a monthly donation through the Revolut app. Regardless of the option chosen, after making and confirming the payment, the donor will receive a notification in the application informing him of the donation made.

• Return of one-time and recurring donations

Both in the case of a one-time donation and in the case of a recurring donation, the donor receives a notification in the Revolut app to make and confirm the payment. In the case of recurring donations, the donor is informed one day before the card is debited, through a notification in the Revolut application. In this context, since the donor is informed each time, monthly, regarding the donation, Hope and Homes for Children will not process requests for credit/return of donations.
