We have completed the family home built as part of the campaign “Ambassador for HOME. When we build A HOUSE, we shape a CHILD’S FUTURE”. The welcoming home will accommodate 12 children with special needs from the last remaining foster care center in Sector 5 of the capital.
Just one year after construction began, the family home was inaugurated together with our Ambassadors: David Popovici, Amalia Enache, Mihai Morar, Marius Manole and Alexandru Tomescu. For the construction of the house, the Ambassadors mobilized the strongest donor community in the organization’s history – 16,000 individual donors and 28 companies – successfully exceeding the initial fundraising target of €450,000.
The total amount raised through the campaign – €600,000 – made possible the construction and furnishing of the house, as well as the start of building a new family home.

The children joyfully explored the rooms of the house they will soon move into, recently arranged and festively decorated for Christmas. Everything was carefully prepared to offer them a warm and welcoming environment. At the end of the visit, they received Christmas gifts from Romania’s champion rowers: Florin și Maria Lehaci, Marian Florin Enache, Magdalena Rusu, Ciprian Tudosă, Gabriela și Adriana Marin, Dorin Alupei, Bianca Ifteni, Ionela și Marius Cozmiuc, Gabriela Tivodariu, Amalia și Iulian Chelaru.

The new family home has a surface area of 300 sqm and includes four bedrooms, a living room, a spacious kitchen, three bathrooms, as well as areas dedicated to socializing and group activities. It is fully furnished and equipped with all the necessary facilities to ensure comfort, safety, and the warmth of a true Home.
