On my birthday, I want to erase a longing.

Hi, I’m Cornel and my birthday is coming up.
This year, I want to try, together with you, to erase a longing: for children to no longer feel the longing to grow up loved and protected, at Home.

So I am joining Hope and Homes for Children and the Ambassadors for Home – Amalia Enache, David Popovici, Mihai Morar, Marius Manole, and Alexandru Tomescu – so that together we can build a Home for 12 children from Sector 5, Bucharest.

Friends of all kinds, my birthday wish is for you to help me put together a strong pillar in the house that will be a safe, warm, and bright place, adapted to the special needs of 12 very vulnerable children.

They are Aura, Horațiu, Sara, Corina, Cosmin, Marcu, Vlad, Cezar, Adela, Raluca, and Alecu, the last ones from the placement center which is closing, and the last orphanage in Sector 5, the sector where I also live. The most precious gift you can give me is their smile when they move into their Home.
