Despite the progress Romania has made in reforming its child protection system since the 1990s, challenges persist, largely due to economic, social, and historical contexts that differ significantly from those in other European countries.

Hope and Homes for Children Romania has been a beacon of hope for children in vulnerable communities since 1998, working tirelessly to close all orphanages in the country and prevent the separation of children from their families.

The mission of Hope and Homes for Children is to close all orphanages in Romania by 2027.
I choose to support them in this endeavor, thereby also supporting the children who benefit from the foundation’s assistance.
