Together with you — and with the extraordinary support of our ambassador, David Popovici — we managed to turn a birthday into a real chance for the future. The campaign launched by David concluded with an impressive result: €105,900 raised for children and young people who, despite life’s challenges, continue to believe in their dreams and excel in sports, science, and the arts.
David chose to donate his birthday, transforming the gifts he received into scholarships for talented young people in the “DAR Scholarships” program. More than 1,300 generous supporters answered his call, showing that when we come together, we can truly change lives. Alongside the support of the community, the business sector also played an active role.
Companies such as Lion’s Head Romania, Țiriac Foundation, Optiblu Romania, Porsche Romania, Tema Energy, Colonnade Insurance, and Wood Mizer demonstrated that social responsibility and solidarity can have a profound impact when united by a common purpose. The funds raised will be used to provide scholarship recipients with access to sports equipment, musical instruments, training courses, educational resources, and personal development opportunities — everything they need to pursue excellence.
